So, a lot of our friends are going to Münich today. It's the annual MTV pop celebration - remember last year in CPH? It's weird how this is a big international event in every city, but in Copenhagen it's the ONLY international event apart from homeless football (not a bad word on that) to close off the city hall square. Now in Münich - they don't have the whole city closed of to do something like this. Hype it is anyway. I'm just bummed that I got the tickets to go, but couldn't find the time to go away. Friday is big on meetings for the year to come - November is the time to be planning ahead, since there's too dark here to do anything else.

Radio Transmission

I'm top of the town today, sitting on the roof top looking at the crazy November colours. It's not at all that bad. Tomorrow it's a busy one - the long awaited film about Joy Division and front man Ian Curtis is being showned at the Grand Theater. I was out trying to get tix late and now I'm on the waiting list for tickets. you snooze you loose. I hope I catch a break, because I'm a sucker to be sleeping on this one. That's not all though, our kinky fashion friends are launching yet another S mag. I had the pleasure to host their last launch and exhibition, and there's a lot of Skin all right. Impressive line up of photographic talent as well. It's going down at a new (G) spot called SORT - Black in danish - I hope it's more than that, we need new blood on the club scene, especially because it seems there's a new breed of fashion nu-ravers out there that dress to impress and likes to PARTY. Late too. Maybe the club scene is coming back - COPENHAGEN has been sleeping too long. Like me.

If you If you're never going out in Copenhagen, maybe next Saturday November 3rd is time to change that. It's weird how the good shit always comes in piles!

VEGA is seriously coming back with a Midweek Breaks special featuring the 2 most wanted electro hip hop DJ's at the mo': DJ A Trak who is Kanye West's tour DJ and DMC World Champion + man of the hour DJ Medhi of Paris Ed Banger's fame. I included some flix of Medhi from his first CPH visit at Hz during our Adidas/WoodWood BBQ ball and DJ Noize with A Trak during their Brick Lane performance in London last year. Respect.

So that should be an easy choice if it wasn't for the seroius sound clash going down in Christiania the same night. It's going to be the battle of the mega BASS home build sound, when Grå Hal fires up the systems. We do got some serious sound system builders in this town and my money is on "The Peoples Choice" who took the titel last years as the biggest and the baddest. You might as well show up if you live in 40 kilometer radius, because you will be able to hear the system anyway. Booyaka!

Oi! a heads up on the next Hz exhibition in Copenhagen: Skins by Gavin Watson, December 8-18 - produced in collaboration with Vice Mag, you will get to experience the unique photographic material shot by Gavin Watson documenting his life on the wild side.

These photographs has been the main inspiration to the film: This Is England - a must see for the culture concious.
